Rick Schultz – President
I have been a Pine Grove Community Service District Board member for 2 1/2 years. I was employed with 4 companies totaling 45 years in the transportation industry, specifically as a manager in the railroad heavy equipment field. I have been a resident of Pine Grove for 8 years, but with deep family roots in Amador County back to the 1800s. My motivation to join and be a member of the Board relates to improving the features of the Board, to bring it into the 21st Century and make the clients proud of what we accomplish, for them.
Kevin McCann – Vice President
As the newest member of the P.G.C.S.D., Kevin McCann brings 35 years of management and customer service skills to the board. Having moved from Southern California to attend college, he graduated from C.S.U. Sacramento in 1992. Upon graduation, he decided to stay in Northern California. He and his wife moved to Amador County in 2003, and have been residing in Pine Grove since 2014. They feel fortunate to live and work in Pine Grove. For Kevin, being able to give back to the community he loves is a welcomed opportunity.
Richard Schlaman – Finance Director
Richard Schlaman joined the Pine Grove CSD in April 2018. Richard owned and operated a dental lab for 35 years and spent 45 years in the dental field. He has a bachelor’s in science and a minor in chemistry. He is a Director in Lion’s club and was invited 10 years in a row to be in the ‘Who is Who’ in the library of congress. Richard leads the Board’s financial efforts. He joined the water board because of his interest in the community and the future of the water in our area.
Melissa Ontiveros – Director
I have been a resident of Pine Grove for many years and feel that assuring the community has safe and reliable drinking water is extremely important. The Pine Grove Park provides a place for the community to come together to socialize and for the children of our community to play together. I’m excited about serving on the Board for Pine Grove Community Service District and help to make these critical parts of our community to continue.
Colin O’Brien – Director
My family (4 generations) and I have been Pine Grove residents for 3 years now. Leading up to our move, Amador County has been our goal since we fell in love with the area and its community years ago. To say our large clan is excited to be here is an understatement.
I had a professional career in the manufacturing industry that spans 35 years in Business Management servicing the semiconductor, medical, and defense industries. I’ve always enjoyed customer interaction and finding mutual solutions.
I’m so fortunate for this opportunity to work for PGCSD. Being a part of the Pine Grove Community comes with a personal gratitude to contribute back to the community. I am excited to focus energy today building a better tomorrow.
